Kudos to the team who organised the event filled with auspiciousness. They surprised us with a stunning stage backdrop of the iconic Visalakshi Mandap uniquely crafted in 3D imagery.
The satsang location in Chennai was where Sage Bhringi lived and observed austerities. Legend has it that when Lord Rama was on his way to Lanka, he offered homage to the Rishi, doing penance on a hill. The Sage requested Rama to stay with him. A beautiful Nandavanam was laid near the hill where Rama spent his time. The name Nandavanam metamorphosed, in course of time, into Nandambakkam and the Bhringhi hill into Parangimalai!
The descendants of Vijayanagara Kingdom constructed a temple at this sacred site for Rama, Sita and Lakshmana, around 800 years ago. See pic.
