Blissful memories of Tiruchendur Kanda sashti satsang 2010.

Each year the devotees who turned up for the Thean Amudham Sashti Special carried with them some unique memory making their connect with the diversity more deeper.

The satsang group arrived this year to the welcome sounds of two majestic peacocks and the robust kaavadi drummers. As the bhajans flowed with the chant "valli kanavan perai Vazhipokkan sonnalum' more and more of peacocks trooped in atop the roof and fringes of the sannidanam building to stay the full two hours. When Shri.Arunji began the rendition of Bhaja Govinda, it was interesting to watch the arrival of parrots on this occasion.

The roar of the Bay of Bengal, the soft yet radiant setting sun, gentle climate all added to the exuberant flow of bhajans that brought tears to the bhaktas observing sashti austerities.
