Tiruppur - Swami Vivekananda Birthday celebrations

12th January 2018

“ Uttishthata Jagrata Prapya Varan Nibodhata -Arise, Awake and Stop not till the Goal is Reached.”

This deeply stirring sloka from Katha Upanishad was popularized by Swami Vivekananda.Celebrations are held today nationwide every year to commemorate the birthday of the spiritual giant who personified the eternal energy of the youth and their restless quest for truth.
Vivekananda reminded us that all knowledge is in the human mind, yet covered, not discovered. When the covering is slowly taken off, the learning begins. The man, from whom the cover has entirely gone, is all knowing.

Youth in very large numbers were present. Theme: Values Education

Advanced Meditation Program - Kanyakumari.

One of the AMP goals is to awaken the child in us. Kanya Kumari is one of the rare temples in India where Devi is worshipped as a child. Swami Vivekananda came to this temple directed by his Guru Ramkrishna Paramhamsa.

With the splendour of striking sunrise and the soft sunset simmering over the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, the place indeed weaves a magical spell. At the culmination of the course on 1st January, as an icing on the cake, we will partake in a grand AOL satsang at Suchindram Temple festival. This is another rare shrine where Siva, Brahmā and Vishnu, are in one form.

Though principally in Tamil medium, English will be the additional medium.Book early and join us in a setting of variously hued sands!

An uncomplicated path to Bhakti and Mukthi.

The musical discourse was a tribute ?unfolding  world- wide commemoration of 1000th Jayanthi celebrations of Ramanujacharya ( CE 1017-1137). He lived for 120 years and brought in path- breaking reforms in worship and temple management practices. His foremost aim was to lead people towards Bhakti and Mukthi. In doing so, he didn't differentiate people and imparted his wisdom to everyone impartially.
