In two successive evenings, 17-18th April, audiences experienced the spirit of Vasant Navaratri with the finale dedicated to Sri Ram Navami.In the context of scorching summer and lack of seasonal rains, the assembly was also praying for the bounty of showers. Weather gods were responsive too. As the satsang got intense and meditation got under way, it was reassuring to see dark clouds hovering over the arena.(see pic). Large contingents from neighboring agro-belts must have rejoiced that the clouds moved some distance away and burst into showers over the farm lands. Praise be to Vanamali!
