Ulsoor Turns into a Brindavan

9th December 2012: The evening session began with a sampler of caring beyond imagination. It was a narrative of a crab running on the seashore and admiring it's own beautiful footprints. Suddenly a huge wave splashed and washed away the footprints. The disappointed crab asked the wave:'I considered you as one of my Best friends, and then what made you do this?' The wave replied: "A fisherman was following your footprints, that’s why I cleared it off." Knowledge soon blended into devotional melodies  which  transformed the packed auditorium into a Brindavan; as if on cue, when the lines of Murali Manohara began, the audience were elevated into raas mood.

  1. Speaking from the heart:

The entire theme of the satsang was amazing. Commencing with Ganesh vandana, you set the theme on the aspect of aspirations.

Guru vandana followed to highlight the importance of Guru tattwa. The inspiring bhajan of Parameswaraya kindled our spiritual quest elevating us to the state of total bliss. The discussion on seva was meaningful with your own live examples – be it attending to a broken pipe on the street or taking up re-dressal measures for passenger safety in railways.

The whole assembly was completely moved by the knowledge session that followed interspersed with numbers in four languages appropriate to the venue.
The last part of the satsang was sharanagati, exemplified by the pasurams of Sri Andal; when there is sharanagati, all things become simple. One is given more than that is required. All aspirations get fulfilled.

The temple venue added a great deal to the mood of the evening – whenever the ghanta sounds were heard, everyone was brought to the present moment. You highlighted it in the session under internal and external awareness.

I feel very grateful to the Master and totally blessed for such a great evening with so much knowledge and meditation. - Gita
