Serendib

Pleasant surprise:10-13 November,2016

Srilanka is fondly hailed as Serendib. The name has its roots in Sanskrit - Siṃhaladvīpa: Island -Dwelling Place of Lions. The word gained currency in English as ‘serendipity’ from the 18th Century Persian fairy tale, “The Three Princes of Serendip,” where the heroes often made discoveries by chance- as pleasant surprises!

It was indeed Serendipity that participants from across the four corners and central province of the Island turned up in large numbers at the Special Advanced Meditation program at Colombo.

Great team work and an enriching experience for all.
